Searching for a “Stone Ball”
A walk in “Real Time” as Tamara, her friend from Belgrade, and me, search for a “Stone Ball” in the woods near Slatina, in Opština Laktaši.
Today we’re just 6 kilometres away from where we live, near the spa village of Slatina, exploring something a little unusual, the so-called “stone balls” hidden just a few hundred metres off the main road.
One of the things I enjoy most about retirement in Bosnia and Herzegovina is that you don’t have to travel far to find something interesting.
Sometimes it’s just down the road. Simple. Local. Real.
If you enjoy slow living, honest reflections, and a glimpse into everyday life in Bosnia and Herzegovina, you’re very welcome here.
Feel free to leave a comment, I read and reply to every single one.
If you’re new here, I’m David. I moved to Bosnia over twenty-six years ago and never really left. This Blog is about my retirement, daily life, culture and what it’s actually like living in this often misunderstood country.
Thanks for being here and for following the journey.
