This is Pheobe, the new addition to our household.

She was dumped on the street near our house a few days ago, and she wandered onto the property.

She's a "dodge", so the product of people not neutering their pets and just casting out puppies (and kittens for that matter), so dogs wander free and mate as their natural instincts dictate. It's a problem here in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with no solution in sight.

We said that 2 dogs and 3 cats would be our limit, but what can you do?

She's super sweet and super smart.

She's also full of energy and we think she's happy. The other animals are gradually taking to her.

At the right time, we'll take her to the vets and make sure we don't exacerbate this already problematic situation.

Keep an eye out for her in future posts! 👍 😀
