Making Wine at Home

Opening my office/studio window earlier today, the smell of grapes wafted in.

There are grapes growing just a few feet away and, at the top of the garden, some 150 metres of vines full of grapes.

Fruit doesn't go to waste here, so, will it be grape juice or wine, or?

Two years ago, in mid October we made a couple of hundred litres of "young wine". We made a video about it.

This is that video.

Our "Sunday in the Shire" has been pretty laid back.

Yes, the ankle is still problematic, but even in "normal" (whatever that may be) times, my mind is always racing away.

Crashed on either the living room couch or in bed (on our super new mattress), I am getting used to the fact that a young mind in an old body really means thinking things through, or accepting that things (life), has changed.

Young mind gets a big 👍, but there are limitations now on the body component 😕.

There's really nothing to prove anymore.

That's all been done.

Now's the time for enjoying.

The change of mindset isn't easy though. Having said that I can see some progress.

The secret lies in the mind.
