The Story
I have watched so many cooking videos from the South Caucasus and Turkey, where a meat cleaver is used so much, not only for meat, but for preparing vegetables as well.
The word for it here, where I live is Satara.
So I used the opportunity during a recent visit to the Sunday Market ⬇️ in Banja Luka to buy one.
Whilst at the market we bought 3kg of freshly spit roasted lamb for Sunday lunch, and on return to the Village Tamara’s father, Predrag, sharpened the Satara and used it to joint the meat.
