Loved the videos this week, the scenery is beyond stunning, wishing I could be there. Yes its dreadful what has happened in Afghanistan. One of the most important things is to look back in History, especialy British when it was an empire. Defeat in 1842 by the Afghans, 1878 eventual take over but in conjuction with a local group/ tribe appointmet of Afghan ruler and a special relationship of joint running the country, Then in 1919 actual independance when Britain pulled out, after again a troublesome time. It seems no one bothers to read History. Take care all the very best to you and Tamara

every rose has a thorn, much unfortunate for Afghanistan and the photo looks much confusing in trying to understand the temperature at the time, from right to left, short sleeve summer clothing and sandals, progresses gradually to heavier and finally autumn/winter full on clothing with a jacket ,hat and even a scarf along with winter shoes, interesting and confusing :)

Loving rose wine (a dry one though) too which I never used to like - maybe it’s an age thing 🤔
