Depresivno Vrijeme - Depressing Weather.
Note to Self: Don't check the weather app it's positively suicidal.

Welcome to this weeks newsletter from Tamara and Me here in Čardačani.
As you can see we are using a new tool to publish our newsletters.
In today’s tech expanding world there are always new innovations, so trialling new things we think, is both healthy and maybe fruitful.
You’ll be the judge with this one.
Your comments about this new format would be so appreciated.
WEATHER FORECAST.
Although we are getting more sunny days now, they are still wrapped around with more rainy days.
If COVID and it's evil effects weren't enough, this depressing weather is enough to turn any sane person, crazy.
WTF!
Dull, miserable, chilly, wet
What's nice about any of that?
Note to Self: Don't check the weather app it's positively suicidal.
THE PAST WEEK IN A PARAGRAPH.
Thankfully there are things to keep the mind occupied.
Highlights of my week so far?
1. Eating leftover teletina ispod sača (veal under the sač).
2. Preparing and delivering 2 days of online presentations to an audience across the globe. Immense fun I have to say.
3. Enjoying homemade Hot Chocolate courtesy of Tamara. Extremely addictive in so many ways.
4. Long hot showers.
COVID AND LOCAL LIFE.
Our vaccine rollout across the country as a whole, is, and there’s no other way to say it other than being dishonest, is, pathetic.
There are reasons given of course, but my adopted country is disjointed in so many ways politically, that the everyday, normal citizen suffers. However, there is a will to get on top of things. At least that’s something. When 80% of GDP is spent on governance (read into that what you will), what can we expect?
Closer to home, Tamara’s uncle is now in hospital with COVID related symptoms. Fingers here are tightly crossed.
AN UPDATE AND PLANS FOR OUR BLOG/VLOG AND YOUTUBE CHANNEL.
FOODIE PIC OF THE WEEK.
WHAT WERE WATCHING AT THE MOMENT AND RECOMMEND.
We are 100% into exploring other countries and cultures through films and Series (many of which are not shown on traditional TV).
We “Binge” the first series of Shitsel (from Israel). Its addictive, informative and educational.
2 Series to go!
By the way, who really really watches Traditional TV anymore?
WHAT DAVID IS LISTENING TO.
Tinariwen are from Mali, one of the countries I want to visit and is on my “Bucket List”
Amazing music from the Tuareg people. You won’t be disappointed.
COMING SOON.
Our next Podcast guest is Arch Grieve a mediation specialist at the Dayton Mediation Center, Ohio, USA.
Arch has visited Bosnia and Herzegovina and we’ll be finding out what he thinks of the country.
That's our update from our village here in the north of Bosnia and Herzegovina for this week.
We hope you like our new way of creating our weekly newsletter.
We hope you'll continue to follow our adventures, and to engage with questions and comments.
We are always so excited when we receive them, AND, we reply to every single one.
PLEASE, do stay safe wherever you are.
Love it! To be honest i was tiered of fb and kept checking you on youtube. But i like this. Good choice David.
Love this format ... short sharp and snappy
Sorry to hear about Tamara's uncle ...... and on the subject of Covid response the Bosnian Government are not helpful (best left at that) ... I concur with your view. I have an interest in Srodstvo / Kinship ..which for the average BrItish /American / Canadian / Australian / New Zealand person does not go much further than Uncle, Aunt, nephew .... I would really like to read you and Tamara's spin on this .. I feel it would be a great subject for your Vlog ...
for example ... in all Slavic languages including Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian ..... No person is ever unsure of the connection of someone to yourself ...nor whether it is a blood or non-blood link ..in fact it is so sophisticated it borders on cuteness ...
There you go David .... thanks for all your ambassadorial standard work and love for our adopted country ... one which has its problems and it's merits and for me the merits outweigh the problems ... Greetings to your extended family ..
