World Hijab Day in Banja Luka
The Majlis Youth Network of the Islamic Community of Jajce celebrated World Hijab Day in Banja Luka with teachers and students of the "Reis Ibrahim ef. Maglajlić" madrasa.
World Hijab Day is celebrated on February 1st and was established by a student in New York after the 2001 terrorist attack.
The madrasa hosted the visitors with a program that included videos, songs, and essays about the hijab. The visit continued in the Ferhadija mosque, where the imam of the mosque introduced the girls to the mosque and its history.
