An Englishman in the Balkans.

A Blog from an “Immigrant” living in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Where we Live

I’ve been a “work in progress” blogger, vlogger and podcaster since 2007. It’s something that gives me great satisfaction.

I am rather passionate about my adopted home country of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where I have lived for the past 23 years.

Although I met Tamara (my wife), years and years ago, we decided to get married in 2019, so I don’t plan going anywhere soon, if at all 😀.

I started this weekly blog to let you know what’s going on in my world. I think it’s a much more personal way of keeping in touch, rather than using Twitter or Facebook ☹️.

I detest (I know that’s a strong word) Facebook. I still use Instagram though.

I bring you along on our adventures, both within Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region as well as including meals I’ve eaten, places I’ve visited, people I’ve met and things I’ve experienced. Also there are links to what both Tamara and I are reading, watching, and listening to.

If you have ideas for what might make an interesting post please contact me - the easiest way is probably to DM on WhatsApp +38766657916

And subscribe now to get full access to the newsletter and website.

Never miss an update.
